+What 'cha need?+

          Darnack is the boss of the underworld dealings on Planet Rim, and has all four hands in damn near every illegal trade one could think of. It is well known that he escaped from a maximum security Imperial prison, hence the chains he wears to this day as a 'memento', and veritably disappeared into the Empire's underbelly. Despite the fact that Rim is just within the Imperial borders, Darnack keeps the few guards stationed on that "Godless rock" paid well enough to look the other way...

          What he can't look away from, though, is his daughter, Beppin. Having never truly had the inclination to actually raise her, he simply fell into a habit of giving her everything she wanted that his illegal funds could provide... including people. When Sanshou, one of the ever-dwindling Saiyajin on the run from the Imperial Extermination Squads, came into his employ, Darnack had himself a surprisingly trustworthy runner for his trades for a number of years. This didn't stop him, though, from screwing him over in a rigged card game after his daughter became enamoured of him and decided he was what she wanted to marry.

          When Sanshou managed to bail on the arrangement, Darnack retaliated by sending his own bounty hunters after him. Beppin, however, maintained the idea that he had a good reason to disappear and it would be only a matter of time before he found his way back to her... and when he did, it wouldn't be anything like she expected it to be.

          And for the girl who's had everything she's ever wanted, that just will not do.

Artist's Notes: I've actually had ol' Darnack kicking around for a while, but forgot to post him. When I finally drew his daughter, I figured I could post them together now. The only thing missing is poor, abused Mesui -- one of Darnack's older, actually surviving, runners who's now become moreso a babysitter to Beppin. M'still working on him, though, so he'll come later.
          The main planet Darnack 'resides over' is Rim, featured in the BG. The name itself is taken from one of my Aliens novels. You knew I couldn't resist...
